i wonder if they are homeopathic vitamins? they better make sure there are no vitamins in it.

anyway, save your money and spend it on real fruit and vegetables. vitamin supplements cannot replace a healthy diet, especially for children when they are at a critical stage of development in their lives.

    This angers me.
About as ethical as the local smack dealer offering first hit for free.
Kids need real food, not placebos.

    • It gets worse… they make the things look and taste like a lollie.

Not the company's fault though, I can't see any kid walking into Terry White and paying for these things. If anyone is to blame its the parents that buy these - they should feed their kids properly in the first place instead of giving this sh!t as replacement for nutrition.

These vitamins are for the kids who Have several vitamins deficiency. its not the kids or parents faults that's their immune system, some kids have strong immune system some don't.

Did you get that incoherent nonsense from your naturopath?
(As it its not just wrong, but makes no sense. You think multivitamins treat immunodeficiency or something?)

        • what about other jellies and lollies kids eat from supermarket can you stop then eating?

These are a scam and should be reported to the Police fraud squad. Eat fresh veggies and meat and fruit with nuts, breads, cereals ets and exercise and be happy with friends and family.

          Multivitamins not required.

There isn't a medical doctor in the world who would recommend kids take multivitamins instead of eating spinach and other vitamin rich foods (whether the kids have vitamins deficiency or not). Do you really think these things are good for your kids? Likely they have more laboratory-made preservatives, colours and flavours than vitamins. Not taking into account that they must be 99.9% sugar.

The only people who recommend the multivitamin path either has a vested interest in their sale or were schooled in a naturopathic/wholistic/faith healer TAFE course.

          EDIT:

what about other jellies and lollies kids eat from supermarket can you stop then eating?

And yes, I can stop my kids eating normal lollies/jellies from the supermarket… hey here's a novel idea… JUST DON'T BUY THEM!!!! How old does a kid have to be before they comfortably make their own way to a supermarket, go to the lollies isle and buy rubbish with their own money. 10? 13? Right, by this age if you haven't taught them about nutrition and health then you have FAILED AS PARENTS.

        • Remove the cereals from that statement and you're on the money.

Intended as vitamin supplement not meal replacement.

  • +2

Vitamin supplement are a waste of money. If you're a competent parent your children would not need vitamin tablets.

  • Only 2.5g?! Is that one tablet?
