Cheap yet Efficient Notebook Repair Place in Melbourne??

Lappy is on strike, alas.

It seems that most stores charge an initial diagnostic fee ($50minimum) plus subsequent rates by the hour which won't come cheap. As I wasn't exactly planning on spending a fortune on repair, so here I am juggling the idea of sending the lap to the shop or getting a new one instead.

Is it worth it? Would anyone care to share their repair experience/advice?

Many thanks in advance.

  • Hi Enjolras, what do you think is wrong with it? What are the symptoms?

  • If it is not covered by the warranty (i.e. old models), most repairs of those cheap netbooks are probably not worth it…
