I was browsing OurDeal to see what I could buy with the $20 voucher mentioned in the other post, when I saw a power washball for $22 or 2 for $35, with 68 buys already!: http://www.ourdeal.com.au/deal/eco-friendly-power-washball-d…

I googled/wiki'd and reviews said at best it's no better than just using cold water.

  Doesn't the Wikipedia Page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laundry_ball pretty much tell you everything you need to know about these?
  Why would you want to buy something that the reviews say are no better than cold water?
