Looking for good gaming PC that will play high end games

I want to buy a gaming PC for my son but have really no idea. Can you suggest any reputable PC shops in Sydney. Hoping to find something under $1600 not including mouse, monitor , keyboard.

My sons friend suggested we should include the following

  • i7 4770
  • Gigabyte GTX 770 2gb
  • Samsung 120gb ssd
  • 2TB sata 3 hard drive
  • Win 7 home premium 64 bit
  • 8 GB ram
  • 650w 80+ gold PSU

what are your thougts. Is this any good and where is the cheapest and reliable place in Sydney.

Many Thanks

always thought they did great work ( they are bang for buck builds) the 1300 build looks like it would work great if you replaced the cpu + gpu with the ones you wanted will be closer to the 1600 mark

  • MSY is always the place to go for most people.
I think that some places have better prices, but not better prices for all things. MSY has pretty cheap prices over the board, if not the cheapest in Sydney (not sure about other states).
You could also check out PC Case Gear (PCCG) who are based in Melbourne and deliver AU wide, but that means you have to assemble yourself.
You can ask MSY to assemble for a small fee.

    Good luck

  • Sounds like the build one of my mates put together recently.
He got his parts mostly from MSY and Amazon.

  • need to add case

bought my system recently from umart
