Does anyone have any suggestions on cheapest electricity and gas provided in Sydney? I was with Momentum however, I have just moved into a new property that requires gas and Momentum only provides electricity. Can anyone recommend the cheapest electricity and gas provider in Sydney?

Origin currently have a 15% discount on electricity (I think 13% discount plus 2% pay-on-time), and 7% discount for gas. These offers are listed on the energymadeeasy site recommended by @Holysmoke above. It's a government website and it's pretty detailed. Just enter your usage and they compare the prices for you.
They've been offering this for quite a bit through eSaver I believe. Remember though, it is 15% off USAGE, NOT the total bill. This is generally how they trick you into thinking a high number = more savings. Red is still cheaper by my calculations!

It's out of date, and I'm currently in the midst of a huge work push so I have been unable to update it. The Red Energy deal has dropped to 10 % PoTD, $50 gift card with referral and the Red Energy Rewards card. This is still comparable to the best deal in Sydney, plus the added bonus of the rewards card which I have actually used quite a bit recently with 2-for-1 coupons and various deals around all the suburbs and city.
When I signed up and did the research, gas was cheapest with Origin for me (see spreadsheet).
