LPG Conversion Cost

I have got 2005 Holden and I am looking to convert it into LPG.

Any rough estimate of conversion cost?

Barely worth it with the price of gas these days.. Even while the price is dropping slightly, but still higher than where it was before the annual Northern Hemisphere Winter price hike.
Better off selling your car and buying one with the conversion already done. Even then, it may not be worth it!

I have been quoted $2500 for Orbital injection system and three year warranty. After rebate, I will end up paying $1500.

I normally drive in the city and my current consumption is 15.6L/100 KM and I am guessing I will get return on investment within a year.

Is it a good deal?

  Don't just guess.. Injection system means you'll get similar Km/L, but factor in a bit of loss into your calculations so you've got a worst case scenario ie 20L/Km and do the maths.. it's not hard.
  I'd say if the payback is less than 2 years (even with worst case calculations) you're on a winner. More than 2 years then you'd want to be certain you were keeping the car for that period and driving the same number of K's each week.
