octacore prices starting to drop

so I posted this Mpie deal from pandawill which I thought was pretty good for AU$243.

then clse945111 posted this comment for another low priced -US$199- but nice spec'd octacore -2GB 16GB

now aliexpress pops up with this phone for US$160 not as high spec'd as the above phones but if speed is your pleasure then not bad.

nice to see a downward movement in prices on octacores.

how soon till they are sub US$150?

    That's a fairly meaningless metric to be judging by.

      I guess the whole reason they do it is to sell to those that think like the OP. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a Tegra 4 device since it has 72 GPU cores.

        this post was more focused on the "progression" of technology and the shift in pricing.

        more of a "better" tech getting cheaper which will only lead to further tech advancement.

        I understand the "it goes to 11" factor
