[PC - Uplay] Free Trials Fusion - EDIT: Confirmed Demo

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Note: You need to do this on the client, not the website.

I'm not sure if this is a glitch, demo or mistake but Ubisoft has listed Trials Fusion under free-to-play. All you have to do is go onto the Uplay client, click the free games tab and click Add to my games next to trials fusion. It will be added to your library and you can download the full game.

I'm not sure how long this will last, or if they'll remove it from your account, but hey, a free game is free :)

I already bought this game on steam, so I created a new Uplay account, did what I said above and it was added to my account. The download size is the same as steams.

  • That's a mad find. Been wanting this game but didn't want to fork out $20 for something I might get bored of after 5mins. I think they might take it down when they see their error but not sure if they can remove the game for people who already got it. At a 5GB download I'd say this is the full game.

  • How about Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms?

    • +1

It's a FTP (Free to Play) game.

think its been fixed. links keep going to 29.95 page (even tho its technically listed under free to play on the initial page)

Not working anymore when add to cart.

      Use the Uplay Client.

      • +2

        Confirmed works with client.

        • dosnt work trying to add it from the front page of the client, that takes you to the paid page. i needed to go into free games section and its in there.

          thanks OP downloading now :)

forget it, its only a demo. glad i stopped the download as soon as it started while i checked if it was full version or not..

I must have obtained this just in time!

Just downloading the ~5GB game now. Thanks OP!

    • Let us know how it goes. I've got it on steam already so I didn't download it again.

      • Will update. Now it's on 9% at the time of this post.

  • Still works.

As per the original post, you need to download uPlay and do it in there…not their website.

    Thanks OP.

  • Downloading via the client - thanks OP!

  • Hilarious… cheers! :)

  • Works for me :)

  • Worked, thanks!

  • Outstanding work Wagzy, cheers.

  • Confirmed to work through the UPLAY Client.

  • Thanks so much! I need more Uplay games. Now I have three.

  • Cheers, grabbing it now too.

  • Restarting uplay, fixed!

  • awesome - cheers - downloading now, 3.6MB/s - yeah it's definitely a demo

  • dling uplay now, hopefully they don't take it down

  • it adds it to your collection, but there is an "unlock content" option? is that for DLC or for the whole game? waiting on the download to check if it plays.

    • +1

Hmm not sure what it's for. I'll check it out.

EDIT: yeah its for DLC codes etc.

  • cheers OP, worked for me

  • 10 thumbs up OP!

  • seems to be working, downloading at 6-8mb/s (apparenlty i have steam download going as well) should be able to set Uplay to offline mode and play the game offline once you activate.

Damn need to disable avast it goes crazy at the end of the download. With the downloaded file is very rare.. so many popups

  • Great find. I needed an incentive to finally install Uplay!

  • Worked for me. Big thumps up!

I don't think this is the full game.

In the DLC tab of the game in uPlay it says "Trials Fusion: Full Game" Buy Now.

Anyone actually confirm this is the full game.

    • +1

Anyone actually confirm this is the full game.

      +1

Anyone fully downloaded this and can confirm?

      • +2

To answer my own question, second you start the game a pop-up hits saying "This is a demo", etc.

  • great find, seems to be working downloading now round 4%, ~1mb/s though

    • Much Disappoint!

  • ITS A DEMO apparently!!!! As it says ingame.

    • 5gb for one track D:

      • sorry its not one track but 6 tracks under a item called "Demo something"

Anyway 5Gb gone from my monthly quota.. :(

  • Wow I think that I picked it up just before it became a demo, which I think that it is now.

    Edit: It's a demo!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!
Wow, so sad, thought that a steal was on. Damn :/

Oh well. May as well cancel my download.

I am still +ve this as it got my hopes up. and meant i didnt need coffee this morning, so saved me $5.

      hahaha, Gotta love the adrenaline!

  • That's a shame. 5GB is way too big for a demo, if they did the demo on Steam I might have continued just to try it out though.

    • Yeah, 5gb is really big for a one track demo. It's a pretty good game though, could last over 20+ if you do all the challenges.

    • I imagine it is an 'unlock' when you purchase it, similar to how PS3 'trials and unlocks' work.

      • Yep - some of these demos are the full game download that simply unlock when you buy it.

  • So the next question is, can this be uninstalled, or is it permantently bound to the account in the games list?

I think it might be the later :(

  • Can confirm, it is a Demo. I have just launched it and got greeted with a 'Demo' prompt.
