27" Korean eBay monitor

Hi Ozb. My main monitor has died and i am looking for a cheap, good quality, great bang for buck 27 wide monitor with out any stuck or dead pixels . Has anyone grabbed one of these Korean qnix etc monitors from eBay and have a seller and or model that they recommend or even better something around these lines from an aussie seller?
Thanks

There is a whole thread, plus a beginners guide to Korean LCD's dedicated to this subject at http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2173172

    • Thanks buddy though if anyone on Ozb had a good experience with a seller please let me know :)

  • I bought one recently from ebay:
posted express via dhl, and has a decent return policy as per the item page. No issues so far with it. Matte and overclockable (I haven't tried yet).

ther seller is "storewithstory", but is the same as BCC and Gmarket

I think I offered $315USD. Maybe you can get a better deal

  • I purchased an X-STAR DP2710 27" 1440p from a reputable seller on eBay for $280 delivered. Fantastic monitor for the price - highly recommended - it arrived in less than a week too.

Only concern was that the stand was average. No heigh adjustment and not the most stable around. No problem if you don't move it around and have a stable desk.
