      yep. Up to.

      Read the above.

  • I have joined August of last year, will this apply to me?

  • -1

    up to .

  • I signed up 2 days before I seen this deal, have contacted medibank to see if they will add the points retrospectively. Will let you know

    • +2

You should have 30 days cooling off period, if they don't give you the points, then leave. And re-join.

    • +2

They will not give you the Points.

Resign then sign up again with this offer.

    • before i saw*

  • Reckon I could switch from Medibank, and then switch back again to score the points?

    • +1

Won't you then be subjected to waiting periods for a lot of things?

      • Yes, you will have to start new Waiting Periods from scratch,

        • +3

I thought when you have already served the waiting period (even with a different fund) in a previous fund, you dont need to re-serve, thought thats pretty standard practice now?

      • +3

'If you want to move from one fund to another, you will not have to re-serve waiting periods if you transfer to a policy that is at the same or a lower level of benefit. Your new fund must give you continuity for the waiting periods you have already served. However, if your new plan includes new or higher benefits that were not part of your old policy, you will have to wait for those benefits.'

check your fund details carefully first
it could easily cost you more than $250 in real money in the 6 months
we saved a fair bit per month swapping to a new found and would have bee close to $250 (if medibank is $40 a month more than your fund then it is not worth it)

so which provider is likely to be cheaper according to your experience.
