Whilst dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to increase the longevity of the life of your glassware and avoid dropping metal spoons or ice into the cups (they should be placed in the cup).

    Be prepared to have these glasses fail on you. I have had one replaced and have two more now that have water in the void. My family members who have bought on my recommendation have the same issue now too. This despite hand washing even though they say dishwasher safe

      I've had one break after daily use for about 8 or 9 months and daily dishwasher use as well. Not the longest time, but I accept that they are intrinsically fragile by design.

        Not so much a "break" but the little nub that is the plug at the bottom disappears, leaving a hole allowing water to enter.

        When I raised the warranty request I was told they had "never heard of this" before and recommended I hand wash them. To their credit they replaced the item immediately but have since had it happen two more times and am now out of warranty. It's happened to my father in law twice now as well

    To be fair, it's the item that is clearly marked as pre-order that isn't being dispatched until 2/6/2014. Not sure what the problem is, given the rep has clearly identified this particular item is pre-order. There's plenty of other items that are in stock and available for shipping now.

    The 350ml ones are 4 for either $9.00 (what I paid) or $10 (which is what I think I saw yesterday) at Target.

    We have had them in daily use for over a year (bought them from K-Mart, so assume the same supplier as Target), and no problems.

    Have the kmart ones and they're pretty good. Lasted longeR than the bodum ones I had which cracked!
