left it on all night
then the laptop expired.
not sure why.
where is the best place I can go to for service and repairs and upgrades please?

what do you mean by expired? If the battery is dead, generally it should still turn on if the cable is plugged in

Don't waste our time by not using clear language in your posts…expired would not be the correct terminology here… my first thought was your Windows license had come to the end of its trial period.

1.come to the end of the period of validity.
(of a period of time) come to an end.

2.(of a person) die.
"the lady had expired bearing her lord a son"
when I talk of the battery and then say expired
it is a bit of a leap for you to extend this to winsdows
you are wrong in your inference.

If it doesn't start with the (new?) adapter plugged in, I would guess you have a faulty adapter.
