1. Anything less than 4lbs
2. When the shipping fee is not ridiculously high for the Australia customer.
(the system will figure it out automatically)
3. Other internal calculations

Thanks for clearing that up. Love the meritline deals and great customer service when occasionally something goes wrong with the order.
As far as I can recall, they've always shipped to .au from the US warehouse but it was the high cost of shipping that was and still is the problem by the looks of it.
Maybe some items didn't and now do?

There's an example from Jan 2013 of a US warehouse item that someone would have originally posted thinking shipping was free but then had it explained to them. Looking through the old meritline deals, there have been some removed as 'not available to Australia' so they must have items that don't ship, perhaps the one you've listed above wasn't available but now is.
That same charger is just over $50 shipped from Amazon so I'd give meritline a miss on this one, the BC700 is a bit cheaper than the 500 by the looks of it but doesn't come with the car adapter.
