So when will Woolies change their online shopping ?

So I am a relatively new online shopper but after trying Coles & Woolies, Woolies is far supreme for me. So I wonder when they will change to the way Coles do it by charging you after they pack your order ? Wheras Woolies charge you as soon as you complete checkout. So that's why I love Woolies especially for weighed items, I have constantly received every order more meat, deli items & fruit & vege vs what I actually paid for. So for now, Woolies you are awesome ! :)

    • Well surely they can't sustain giving away freebies ? Say for example today I paid for $12 of steak and got $17 & paid for $5 of pork and got $10 - that's not the only things. Just seems unsustainable surely.

  • This is why I love woolworths online.
    Non sliced ham is the best, costs about $8 and always comes at about $16-$20 price label.

  • I used to get extra stuff as well.
    I also got the wrong type of stuff and they gave me a credit but never asked for it back.

  • I prefer the Woolworths system of charging you first so you know exactly how much things will cost. I rarely order fresh food online but when I do I usually get over what I ordered.

    I also got an extra packet of dishwashing tablets on my click and collect order when they were on special a few weeks ago. I ordered one of the half price varieties and stipulated they could substitute one of the other finish products that was on special. I got the product I wanted plus a substitute product. I didn't realise this until I got home so I didn't take it back.

  • Woolies started out great…I'm talking 8 or 9 months ago. I used them about four times, produce was great, deliveries were accurate. But then, last 3 deliveries…. items wrong,limp, yellow, broccoli (should have been thrown in the bin!), broken eggs, unacceptable substitutes for items out of stock and worst of all, meat undelivered with no substitute!.Now, this means with a Sunday delivery, that I have no meat for the week and I have to shop again!!

    No problems with credits, but terribly inconvenient, defeating the whole purpose of the "delivery exercise".

    Don't know what happened, but three grossly incompetent deliveries (many items inferior quality, wrong and undelivered)is enough!!..so haven't used them since
