      Not really, it is what Australia Post charges. Companies have that to pay.
      For a larger order, it works out pretty cheap even though it would probably cost the company more to send.

        Aust post wouldn't be charging that much, I sent a computer mouse boxed in the original packaging from Adelaide to Sydney recently for $6. The box was a similar size to a big shoebox and weighed a lot more than a tube or 2 of toothpaste.

          Is it a flat delivery fee, no matter how many items you buy? Or does it increase?

          I think that the delivery fees severely impact the attractiveness of this deal.
