Best Meat Mincer: KENWOOD MG700 or TEFAL ME710?

Hi Ozbargainers

Im planning on buying a meat micer as im finding it hard to buy lean mince (Veal) with minimal to no fat.

After researching the ones available in Australia, ive narrowed it down to 2 mincers:

  • Kenwood MG700: Retails between $350 - $400
  • Tefal ME710: Retails between $180 - $220 and Made in FRAMCE

Im not fuseed about the price. Just after a mincer that will last long. Planning on mincing 6 Kg of meat a week (3Kg of chicken and 3Kg of veal)

Thanks in Advance

  • I don't understand people that buy too lean mince, it completely ruins the flavour of the meat and I cook most of it off first anyway. Mincing your own meat also seems like alot of work for very little gain.

    • +1

Eating clean . Gym junkie style lol

  • If you're planning to mince that much per week & not fussed about the prices, I'd recommend you to look for a Commercial grade meat mincer :)

  • I actually have a Breville BMG600 which I use often & I'm very happy with it. I only paid 1/3 of the price though. Bought it from Myers 2 years ago for $99, RRP is $299. Good luck!

  • I've had one of these $65 grinder/mincer/sausagemaker's for several years now and feed several kg through it every month, hasn't missed a beat

  • Did you ever find a grinder? 😅

Dad wants me to grab one.
