  • Coupon Code was not applied.

  • gave it a shot, at $10 you cant really go wrong for a pair around the house. just hope they dont spam (mail) the shit out of me now

    • What options and glasses did you choose?

      • you can pick any thats in that link. just make sure you choose the basic lens and remove the extra's like scratch coating and stuff

  • Am I doing something wrong?
You pick a pair at e.g. $99, then you go through pick your spec requirements, it seems to add on $89, then you add discount code and it goes back to $99?!?!

    I can't seem to find a pair of FREE glasses… ?!

make sure you select a pair of glasses that doesnt have all the added tints or special treatments. I think it only applies to glasses valued at $89.95 maximum.

      • I try to do this:
        R. Hardy 9030 Black R. Hardy 9030 Black
EditRemove Eye SPH CYL AXIS PDPrice
        OD (Right) -0.25 -1.50 1 58.5 $39.95
        OS (Left) -1.25 -3.25 1
        Thin Air Lenses

The values aren't correct, just a trial. But it still should work.

  • Hi, I add a pair from the selected range, originally it was $70, but when the code was applied, it didn't go to $10, it went to $35. Am I doing something wrong?

"Does not include lens upgrades and lenses outside +/- 2.0"
    … makes it pretty useless.

  • +/- 2.0

I think this refers to 'sphere' on my prescription, I've -4 so it worked out to be $40 w/shipping :-(

I paid an extra $20 for the coatings, does that make me a sucker?

    • +1

If you paid the price retail stores ask, then maybe, but at $20 it's not all bad. I found a really good page detailing whether it was worth it or not and the message was they help, but they're not all great. So for $20 it's fine.

okay… op you may want to update post to include this (I successfully ordered for $9.95 by doing this):

    Select - Single Vision
    Select - Standard Clear Lenses
    Select - Durable Air Lenses
    Don't add - Lens Coatings

    • +1

      this.

not too hard to figure out though

    • Updated, cheers.

I can vouch for these guys. The pair I ordered turned out to be quite decent

  • These guys are great. Check out their new physical store in Sydney if you get a chance. Great range, prices and service

Quality of the frames is good, and returns or problems are handled well by customer service. Pity it's only for +/-2.0. Back in the day, they had free glasses with no conditions, and they didn't force you to upgrade the lenses, so the entire order was free except for postage.

    Edited to add:
These days I buy from selectspecs.com. They have full glasses starting from $12 plus shipping from UK, maybe a little higher for thicker lenses. I think my glasses worked out to be about $30 incl shipping for complete pair, with all coatings free. They have a limited range of super cheap glasses, but if you can find one you like, it's a bargain.

Just called and was told this deal is on for the rest of the year. So gives me a chance to have eyes checked agian before ordering.

It doesn't list them in a single group any more but I was told if you add the ones you like to your favourites then when you go through them it will say excluded from first pair free offer.

They did apologise for making it a bit harder but a good deal none the less
