Is there a legit way to let you all know about present/future deals when submitting quota has been reached?

Hi all,

I've submitted two freebie e-book deals (I did so as a store representative as I'm the author of the books) in the last two weeks so the system doesn't allow me to upload another deal.

Is there a way I can I let you know that in the next 5 days I'll be offering daily one of my books for free without violating the site's regulations?

Thnx!

P.S.
I didn't tag the store representative box because I don't know if it's o.k. that I'll reveal my name. I don't want to be suspected as trying to bypass the site's regulations.
Please notice that I AM a store representative (author of books).

You can use the forums or instead of letting people know a few days in advance, why not just let the ebooks be free for a few days?

Using the forums as a bypass would clutter the forums, this should not be encouraged

  • Ozhunter,

    Thnx for your reply.
Are you sure that posting in forums is o.k. with the site's regulations? If it is, where would you recommend that I post?

I tried letting people know in advance about free e-book promotion days but they didn't notice that the deal will be active tomorrow so I was flagged for spamming…

About one day Vs a few days, my experience thought me that it's better to offer the book for one day every month or so.

    Thnx!

Or maybe you should just wait until next week to promote your own eBooks? Use forums for discussions, NOT for promotions.

  • Thank you all for your answers.

  • I really don't think Ozbargain is the place for these 'deals' in the first place - it's self promotion to generate click-throughs not a real bargain.
