normally sold at $34.95 plus post.

Rep, when did these (as plain, unprinted) EVER sell at that price?

These Ts are normally sold to businesses that supply printed T-Shirts..

      • Hi,
we where originally selling them at $34.95, and then where able to work with another retailer to buy in lots of $100 to reduce our cost price, that is why we have been able to special them now at $25.
        kind regards jodie

Caps and Shift keys are broken are they?

You may want to brush up on your English skills, Jodie. Where/were, capitalisation, etc.

Strange that you buy in dollar amounts, instead of in quantities. I have never heard of such a thing in the garment business. Especially when it comes to T-shirts. A $100 lot would be 100 T-Shirts.

Keya is the manufacturer's brand name. They are around US$0.50 to $1 each in large quantities. Like Gildan etc. but cheaper.

A little more on that - it doesn't mention the exact price, but apparently they're cheaper than Gildan:
      http://www.t-shirtforums.com/find-wholesale-blank-t-shirts-o…

I'd be curious what weight these T-shirts are, as Keya sell them in a couple of different weights.

      • A little more on that - it doesn't mention the exact price, but apparently they're cheaper than Gildan:

        Yes, they are.

Gildan, (can't remember the exact name - but like super cotton or something) have a top range model that we have used for printed merch.. the Keya Ts are made in Bangladesh. The Gildan (ones we purchased) were made in other low wages countries.

When we think it is worth it, we pay more to print on made in USA American Apparel.

      • Hi Jong,
        they are 150gsm
        Kind regards jodie

    • Hi,
most likely our supplier is lucky enough to pay US$0.50 to $1 each in large quantities and then freight to Australia and duty etc.

I am happy to share with you we pay $4 plus GST a t-shirt and must include postage costs, hosting fees and paypal fees in our pricing. We are a new small business operating from home and hope to one day have a business that can support us.

      Kind regards jodie

      • duty etc.

Interesting. Just what is this duty etc. of which you speak?

We imported boxes of printed Ts from the USA and there was no import duty etc.
