Hey guys this deal is back on ! very cheap flash memory upgrade for a macbook when combined with this

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Micro-SD-Card-Adapter-for-Macbook…

Well this is what I had in mind should be fine as a secondary flash drive and this adapter will not protrude out the side of your mac.

  • Assuming it is a macbook pro w/CD drive. You do have an alternative choice you can do which i believe is a better solution

grab yourself a Caddy or something similar and buy an SSD slim enough to fit in. Grab one from any PC store, or wait for an online sale.

P.s Yes it will replace the CD drive

    • Retina and Air models only have one specific sized MSATA.

  • oh damn, must resist… sigh

Pointless as a secondary flash drive. PNY 128 GB flash offer more value per GB. Neither less this memory card will be handy for my droid devices.

    • That wouldn't be an adaption to the mbp as its just a usb drive ?

  • How is it a deal when this is just the standard price that it's been at since release?

    • Not sure what you mean BobJane… the cheapest I can find these elsewhere is just under $200. Where have you seen them for less since they were released?

  • Retina MBP that is so its soldered to the MB this is the cheapest option I can see. Good suggestion for older macbooks though !

  • Im here and seems $188US????
    How did you get deal?

  • i picked up the 64gb version for AUD $48.77 including shipping http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WTAJTO/ref=ox_ya_os_pro…, i was going to go 128gb but i also wanting to use it on rMBP and some of those cheap micro sd adapters for macbooks that sit flush when inserted say they take upto 128gb but actually only do 64gb

  • Nooooo.. I missed out.. :(

  • The price of these need to be <$100 to be attractive…

  • I picked up the 128gb last time around. It looks 2 months to get here because they were out of stock
