Cheapest car batteries for Ford EF Falcon

Hi all, I would like to know if you guys could help me and all other souls out there who are looking for a good deal on car batteries. I am driving a ford Ef and would really like to change them soon, but never got a chance to price check anywhere (busy schedule).

I appreciate your help, thoughts and views.

  • Series of Eneloops

  • i checked in my nissan pulsar the other day it had an SCA battery, the cheap ones from supercheap. Which surprised me as I don't remember putting it in - but its been starting fine for years.

  • If you are busy, just try BigW or Kmart.
You car takes a Century 67EF.

  • Just buy a second hand one from a wrecker for $30, grab a bottle of Inox battery thingie from Supercheap (maybe only Repco sell 'em now) that should last another year or two.

Or if you think you'll keep your car for a fair while longer, get an Optima/Odyssey/Deka for $250ish and that should last you for quite some time. My D34 is alive and kicking for 6 years now (touchwood) and only cost me low $200's all these years ago. In terms of annual cost (batt purchase price / years it's still alive) I think it's just a little ahead of your usual Yuasa offerings (Century/Exide/Supercheap/Repco). Plus there's resale value if it's not dead.
