Does anyone know if there are some half price $40 Boost Mobile sims available (which will end up costing $20). I'm starting to run out :(
or if there are any other providers offering a similar plan with unlimited/very high calls and texts and 2GB of data or more that costs $20 per month or around that price??

Takes about half an hour, not really smooth as you need to get them to send you a blank sim and credit the blank sim using the credit from a new sim to keep your number, but for me it's worth it, especially since it telstra
They let you do this every month without porting out?
@Gorian4: How do you go about this, what phrases do you use when you ring Boost up? I'm about to try the port back & forth from Amaysim or just a Optus/Virgin $2 SIM, but this method sounds easier. But I can't imagine what words to use to get them to do the blank SIM & credit trick (why would they?).
Is there any delay when porting, how long before the end of the pre-paid period do you need to get them to send a blank SIM & transfer credit?
@BlueMM:Well you need to go to live chat, tell them I just want to activate a SIM card and keep your number(don't tell them your old number is from boost until they ask, they'll tell you you need a blank sim, ask them how long it will take, they'll say 3 days or so, then insist you need to have it moved now as you need the credit to make phone calls, they may ask you to pay them, but continue to insist that you've already paid for the SIM cards, bla bla bla, they'll get tired of arguing and they'll activate your new SIM card and move the credit from your new SIM card to your old one so you keep your number
@Gorian4: I tried this when I ported a week ago, after porting, said that I was given 2 starter packs, how do I use the credit on the 2nd one. She said there was no way they could transfer the credit, then mentioned sending a blank sim out to transfer to, but they only do that if the SIM card is defective or is the wrong size. So she said I can either use the 2nd one separately with a different phone number, or port out & port back in. She wouldn't budge :-(
Well, when I did it, she said that she will cancel the credit on the unactivated Sim and just put a recharge on the current Sim without actually charging the money from me, but I don't know, maybe a lot of people have started doing this and they're cracking down onto it.
