It has always been free. Previously available in PDF on the website, now available in iBookstore. Not a bargain per se.

      Good feedback, but neg worthy?
This is the first time released and free on iBooks. Surely postable on OzBargain?

      From the guidelines….

Vote negative. To vote negative you must first leave a comment with your reason. Please use negative votes cautiously and sparingly, as they can often discourage others from contributing. It is often better to not vote instead. The Voting Guidelines give some further explanation.

Nope, not the first time. Apple released it on the iBookstore back in 2010, removed it last year and now it is back:

Following your logic, every free app/book needs to be posted on OzBargain. Especially considering that this book is useful for developers only.

No problem. I think this is a good example of why people don't post deals any more.

Not asking for a pos vote, just a neg on a freebie that was not available until yesterday seems pretty shitty to me.

example of why people don't post deals any more.

you must not be a regular Ozbargainer to say that…

jv. I think if you look at the percentage of people posting verses free loading you will see a lot of people who used to post don't bother any more. Or newbies post one deal and never again after all the negs.

OzB is a community, I would just prefer this to be a positive community that uses negs when it is appropriate.

Your feedback on deals, whether it be neg or witty, only comes with a neg vote when necessary. This is how it should be.

Negs used to be for deals that were cheaper elsewhere or a bad supplier. Pretty much a neg was a warning to stay clear from the deal.
If you don't like the deal, just don't vote.
Or if it is a dupe, report it.

If you don't like the deal, just don't vote.

Then there would never be any -ve votes.

Personally, I don't think that something that is always free should be posted as a freebie. It should be in the forums.
A freebie is something that you normally pay for, but is now temporarily free…

Did you read my whole reply?

This item was released on iBooks yesterday. I figured people may find this useful. I did.
This deal did not exist a week ago.
Forum, possibly, I don't dispute this, happy for it to be moved by mods. My issue is people negging deals against guidelines instead of giving constructive feedback.

Lots of useful things in the forums to… This section is for bargains or genuine freebies.

Always agreed with you jv. Forums is fine.
I only had the issue with people negging against the OzBargain guidlines.

        • It wasn't a bargain. This isn't Reddit, there is no score. Get over it.

I got over it 3 hours ago. It seems like it is you doing the trolling.
