Anybody know a cheap place to buy Canon digital camera's with an Aussie warranty? I currently buy from www.todaytech.com.au which is about he same prices as on ebay. Wondering if there is a better deal anywhere before I buy. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought one from Dick Smith PowerHouse and at a substantial discount.
How? - They price match.
I got my original price from http://ddcomputer.com.au/. They had some of the lowest prices
They have a storefront. I printed out the pricelist and took it to two DS stores.
The first - a DS only store just said - oh now thats below our cost etc etc (idiots)
Then I was just passing a Powerhouse store a few days later, decided why not, then showed thm the price, it was taken to a manager and I told they would match the price.
Now does ddcomputer have as low a price as todaytech? Sorry cant answer that as I cant access Todaytechs prices. If you find that todaytech is cheaper, maybe you can share how to become a reseller
Also canon rated highly on many of their models at the australian consumer groups site, and i have been happy with my AS710 (now AS720 and at DD$100 cheaper than mine)

I'm looking at an A720 IS at the moment and MSY are the cheapest I've found to date… They seem to be consistently at the low end of prices for anything computery…
The MSY price is significantly less than the eBay price for A720's, even factoring in the cost of the "bonus" Memory card and case…
Use staticICE or Shopbot ?
I bought a few Canon camera overseas several year ago. I took them to the Canon office and had the warranty changed to that of Australia, but the length of warranty reduced by half.
