This has been free for at least 5-6 years, probably more.

    It's also been posted before…

    • +2

Yes jv it was posted before and was expired. This is back in stock again.

      • -2

This has never expired, it's always free. Members are allowed 2 sample nappies per year, per child.

          From the wiki:

          Duplicates
Don't post duplicates (deals that are already on the site). Please search OzBargain before posting.
          Exceptions:
The original deal is older than one month, and was expired or sold out between then and now.
The original deal is active but older than 6 months.

As far as I can see the last time that this deal was posted was on 20/07/2013 and its marked as expired.
So again, thanks for posting monty.melb :-)

          Thanks heaps

It's not a deal, it's always free… Belongs in the forums.

        • It's just like other deals which were repeatedly post after 6 months. monty.melb is doing a good job reminding people here. JV comments are just sour grapes. May be because he can't find a pinky one which can fit his size. LOL

        • true that jv! but some may want an "always free" item spoon fed to them. hahaha

In true ozb style, I think it's worth pointing out that if your little one is swimming more than a few times a year it's going to be much cheaper to just buy a reusable swim nappy. Googling for "swimming nappies" returned this site where you can buy a few different brands and styles all for about $20 with free shipping.

My little man has been doing weekly swimming lessons for more than 12 months now, and had daily swims in our pool during summer and we've had to deal with a poopy swim nappy two or three times in total (out of hundreds of swims). I personally prefer side-clip swim nappies over pull-ups, but both are very easy to use.

Happy to answer any questions about swim nappies if anyone has them.

$8 in Big W. The girl design was gorgeous last year and the design was good - usually I find the legs too big on reusable swim nappies but these were perfect. My DD gave them a FULL test one day in the pool and they passed with flying colours…hahaha…

Target also has a range for about $12-$15.

But if you are a REALLY DEDICATED OzBargainer you will get your free sample pack (of 2 if I remember correctly) and make them last the whole Summer. They can be reused a few times as they're pretty sturdy :)

      • Thanks for the info, guys.
It's extremely important that kids learn to swim (at very least, survive). Toddlers can hurt themselves badly in a moment. Involve water, and it can be death in 'seconds'. Water lessons can be SUCH fun, amazing exercise, and confidence building (for us both). Cheap/easy tips like above = more visits.

Had a full load in one of these once when i got the 2 year old out of the pool, I'm talking a whole roll of cable. The water helped increase the volume to roughly twice the babies weight and reduce the contents to a 6 on the bristol scale.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_stool_scale
Great news was the water was not polluted in any way (if it leaked it would have been reminiscent of Exxon Valdez (c.1989)), so well done Huggies.
Getting them off however, i felt like the guy from Hurt Locker. There is no possible way without the assistance of 40 dreadlocked greenpeace cleanup volunteers i would have been able to remove the saggy piece of material and forcibly clean layers and layers of last nights dinner off my child in a contamination shower.
The area this incident occurred now a smell similar to that of Bolivar Waste Water treatment plant, and will do until the nuclear holocaust.
This particular sample was not able to be reused.
