    location in title

    • 455 brunswick st, fortitude valley!

      • Well, in which state? At least mention it, Brisbane only or QLD only, Ozbargain is Australia wide you know.

  • Yeah better mention its brisbane only :)

  • Price looks good, an 18" pizza should have around twice the area of the "large" pizzas from the other pizza chains, so can feed twice as many people.

Brunswick St is horrible to park on, appears to be a "No Standing Zone" near the shop. So is this offer is only practical for people who live within walking distance? Or is there somewhere that not-so-local people can park, say at 5:30PM to 6PM, to collect their pizza on the way home from work?

      FREE PARKING INSIDE THE COMPLEX

      • Just had a look on Google maps, do you mean follow the "undercover customer and hotel parking 75 spaces" sign? Good to hear it's free, I usually find such parking signs indicate paid parking.

        • +1

          its free!

Just trade in your caps lock key on arrival.

  • Is there a way to get this offer by ordering online, or is it only available by calling the 1300 number listed on your FB page and mentioning the offer?

    • only available by calling!

  • Might want to include store name in the title as well. It looks fairly generic on my RSS reader and I'm assuming it would look that way on email too.
The deal looks good although I would need a Dominos Large or Pizza Hut Large size to compare it to. Also I would actually need your store to be near me for it to work too.

  • Looks good! Please open a branch near my house.

    No dice ! This week's source for Pizza is name=woolworths-select-pizza-quattro-formaggi x $2.5o.
course being familiar with woolworths location, might what I'll stick with ..yummy-yummo-yea.
Change left over for drinks &Aus wide for bonus

  • Had two of these a fortnight ago and they were good. Parking was ok, free in central Brunswick complex as stated . Great Hawaiian. They're those huge but thin pizzas with slices you can roll up for rapid stuffing into gob.

  • Good pizza, highly recommend.
OP, please bring back those group buy deals, last time I paid ~ $12 for 2 pizzas via scoopon or our deal

  • These pizzas were so-so last time I got them. 7/10.

  • Place used to be exceptional and went there often.

Unfortunately ownership changed and the quality and pricing nosedived.

Been a whirl since I've been there but I'm more likely to go to Mecca Bah now and know I will get top notch quality for roughly the same price (excluding Tuesday specials)

    • By exceptional you mean heaps of toppings and operating at a loss? Thats why ownership changed. Prices are the cheapest for the size, you would pay a lot more anywhere else.

By exceptional I mean they gave excellent customer service also.

With new ownership simple mistakes were made, additional ingredients put on the wrong pizzas and charged for their mistake. Also meat lovers pizza with one type of meat.

A quick look through the Facebook page will show the phones are frequently out (taking orders through Facebook?!), ingredients being purchased from the supermarket after blaming previous owners for not supplying you with stock, bases that are too thin, shop is closed early, inconsistent with deliveries, deliveries not available on weekends (surely that's a pizza shops prime opportunity?!), changing delivery parameters and min delivery of $30 when it is available.

Looking at your menu, none of the ingredients are particularly expensive - the exception perhaps was the seafood one which you no longer offer. 5 pizzas utilise Cajun marinated chicken breast so food and labour costs shouldn't be exceptionally high. It's not exactly revolutionary what you did with takeover. Smaller increased "cost" of using extra ingredients would very quickly be outweighed by the additional business, additional business means purchasing more stock, purchasing more stock means cheaper purchasing prices (see where I'm going here?)

2 for $25 is a great price, however based on my previous experience with the new owners I'd be gettingMecca Bah or even Dominos.

  • The food is expensive because of the size. Regular prices are cheap as it is. Well maybe you went when new owners took over. All the problems you mentioned happened when new owners just took over. Min delivery has to be done in order for it to be economically viable. And mecca bah and soul pizza are totally different how do you even compare them.
Definitely you have no idea of the cost of ingredients, rent and labour.
Previous owners had no experience at all, they had a massive loss every week thats why they had to sell. Cheap prices doesnt work in australia just because of the high labour. Btw soul pizza is one of the top rates on eat now. Customer service was better than ever, well maybe you are a friend of previous owners, so this comment wouldnt count

    Unknow facts about this deal:

    1. The tricky part is these guys didn't mention the time ! This deal is only availabe only Tue & Wed after 5:00pm.
    2. Even their Facebook page has no timings mentioned, so how a customer should know about the deal ?
    3. The orders need to be placed via phone call only (so don't show up there before placing an order through phone or don't put an online order as you may end up paying full price)
    4. They only answer the calls after 11:30am
    5. When asked about the deal & the timings which are kind of misleading, I was given an answer straight away over the phone that they can't make that deal before 5:00pm (which is mentioned no where)
    6. No courtesy/manners over the phone and not really convinced with their reply, hence a poor customer service.

Anyways me and my work mates ended up having a disappointment about this deal :(… So guys, just be aware of these dodgy deals !

    Cheers thanks.
