Recommend me a company to create my e-commerce website

Hi there,

I am about to establish a business dealing in high-end, branded consumer electronics, namely cameras and peripheral products, as well as a secondary focus on sound and audio equipment.

Right now, I'm shopping around for a firm to create my website. My budget is between 6,000-8,000 dollars. If you're a web designer and think you can create a decent product in that price range, contact me. Otherwise, if you've had experience with a website design firm, please recommend them to me.

Right now, I'm in talks with www.ecommercewebsites.com.au to create the website. I've also taken a look at the designers on elance, though I find second-rate many of the top-ranking firms on there.

    Are you after opencart? You could look into buying a theme from http://themeforest.net/. Most Hosting providers will install the theme for you.

    Alternatively you could go with a ready made store solution, which comes with hosting & assistance. Although some may have a commission on sales. Some are strictly monthly fees with no sales commission. Plenty of them around, but these are the popular 3 I'm aware of:

    Depends on your needs & budget. Customized stores can be great, but as a start up I wouldn't recommend it. You would then have to rely on them to help you when things go wrong.

    Might be a good idea to say where you are located.

    Any decent website design is going to really need personal discussions with you. Now this could be done over the internet, but for that amount of money dealing with someone who can visit you would be a better option.
