Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Dan Murphy's - $158.60

120

Found this on Dan's website. Seems like a bargain. Had a quick squiz through Google and all the other players are flogging it off for more.

If this isn't quite your cup of tea, there's a $55,000 bottle of Johnnie Walker available on eBay. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Johnnie-Walker-Blue-Label-1805-Ce…

Edit - Delivery only deal on the website.

Pfft - everyone knows that you don't mix quality whisky like this with coke…

      you use Pepsi Max

Ice Cubes in a pinch, anything to dilute the real taste of expensive scotch.

    • Right price in South Australia, 1 year out of date cheery coke zero, 80cents for 2litres… Only the best will do

Guys, if you are seriously considering drinking whiskey, try Yamazaki 12 years old, $95 at Dan Murphy's.
It was voted as the best scotch by independent reviews.

If you have a lot of money, buy the 18 years old, but it is very rare, cost approx about $300, you can get a shot for $40 in some pub.

It should be drank neat, perhaps with a splash of distilled water, but no ice.

It taste smooth, a bit sweet at the end, and no smoke. A bit like Glenlivet 12 years old which is only $40, but it's smoother and sweeter.

    • Nikka Whiskey - Yamazaki single malt all the way! Grab it for cheap on your next Japan/Hokkaido trip.
