Can I still use my 60c stamps?

I bought a roll of 100 at a discount from eBay for my business. Since the hike is up to 70c, i double checked aprice to send a CD via envelope domestically and its up to $1.40 from $1.20. Can i still use my 60c and just put 2 stamps on or do i have to overpay and put $1.80 on since thats the minimum i can manage.

Thanks.

    Buy yourself a role of 10c stamps and place 2 stamps on your letter, 1 x 60c, 1 x 10c.

^ correct, stamps are like coins, you just combine different value stamps to reach the required amount. I get parcels with like 20-30 stamps sometimes.

A CD in an envelope isn't too heavy. Sell remaining stamps and invest in a carrier pigeon.

im sure if you sent it 10c short, they are not going to send you the bill for 10 cents, or return the mail back to you asking to stamp more.

as the old stamps get used, there will be none left of the cheaper stamps and everyone will pay the current amount.

use it, there wont be any problems.
