HELP, please!

Need to buy air tickets London-Sydney-London for our two adult daughters, so they can visit us for Christmas this year.

Last year, I paid abt 750 pounds on Etihad for one of them for LHR SYD LHR.

Since then, airfares on this sector seem to have gone up a fair bit!!??

If any of you smart OzBargainers are able to offer advice on getting the cheapest air-fares, I am ready to book flights for them immdly.

Dates: Dep London anytime between Dec 10 to 16th

Return: Dep Sydney around Jan 5 to 12.

They can depart from either Heathrow or Gatwick.

Then wait for a Scoot sale from Singapore. Probably around $1.5k all up.

Going via Malaysia would be around the same price.

Otherwise if you want to book everything on the same ticket, fly Garuda Indonesia, around $1.8k. (wait a few days, prices may fall).

Your last couple of posts asked similar/same questions, didnt you learn anything from them?I think there are a lot of people on ozbargain too lazy to research forums for similar questions or similar posts here for answers.I may get neg for writing this but i see it all the time and if you look hard enough the answer or solution is there.

Pls point out a question or answer in the last 6 months by anyone for the Lon Syd return route?

It is a totally different beast to Syd Lon in my experience.

In any case, even on the Syd Lon route, things change. For instance, the Expedia Brazil loophole.

I am not a travel expert and if others who may know better, or have recent experience or are experts want to help, I would have thought this forum is the correct place.

Others who may not want to, may choose to pass.
