Went to buy some sugary snacks for my big day of game of thrones catch up, and boom, cheap coffee machine! Although, as pointed out by the ever supportive spouse, as I have only made one coffee with the machine I am currently running at $29.75 per cup…

    comes with a 6 pack of sample capsules… but i have made 2 cups now, so i am currently only paying airport prices per cup…

  I bought one of these when they were on special last time for my dad. We returned it back within an hour as the coffee is horrible.

  Good price compared to normal but it's better to spend more and get a aldi machine or nespresso.

        it is instant coffee (as opposed to ground) with powdered milk (for the milk coffees). tastes like what you would expect.

        Yep, the powdered milk part was probably the worst part of it.

  I've sampled the Dolce Gusto coffees at one of their pop up stores in Broadway Shopping Centre. Truly terrible coffee. I tried latte and cappuccino. I wouldn't recommend it based on the taste.

  I thought the coffee from this machine was pretty ordinary compared to the bigger units. Is my mini machine just a dud, or are others feeling different? ps - paid $105 for the mini in April :(

  Crappy coffee, Expensive capsules. Limit choice of capsules. Paid $50. Gone back to the plunger.

  Only buy this machine if you drink black coffee or just buy the ristretto/Americano pods and a milk frother. The milk pods are truly shit.

  Man, I just bought that a week ago for $49.95.

  I've got it sitting on my desk at work and it's pretty good at quick caffeine shots.
