Accor Advantage Club Cards x 2 with 2 night hotel $350 AUD ~ Highly recomended

Hi,

If anyone is interested to get the Accor Advantage Club cards I can help you get a much cheaper rate than buying it here in Australia.

2 x Accor Advantage club cards with 2 nights hotel $2488 HKD so aprox $350 AUD

So that means 4 people can eat together and get 50% off the price of food at hotels like sofitel etc.

Just using the complimentary night to stay at Sydney Sofitel Wentworth for 1 night already pays for itself!

~ you also entitled to free internet and late checkout up to 5pm etc

(If you buy it here in Australia it cost $299 for one card only meaning only 1 complimentary night and only 2 people can dine to get 50% off.)

PM me if interested and I will refer you to my accor sale rep.

  • Silly question, the complimentary room is usually only for 2 adults right? i mean if i take my family of 4, kids 10-13 years old, I wont be able to access the complimentary rooms?

    • I think depends on the hotel. Usually I just book saying 2 person get the complimentary and sneak the other two in, and book a twin share so 2 double bed : P or if you need the extra roll away bed they usually charge for it. But you really need to know what the particular hotel policy is. If it is a strictly 3 person only room then legally they won't let four people stay there.

  • I can't pm you cause I'm new :( Waaaa!

  • You need to turn it on:
Go to my account, setting, message, tick allow private messages

or what is your email and I will email details to you

  • I have turned on my PM :)

  • Presumably this an an overseas-based membership. Are there any issues with using the cards here?

    • Advantage Club is an Asia Pacific thing so my card works in other coutries and I assume there cards would work the same here.

      • yes no difference u just pay more $$$

  • Do you have to buy two?

    • better deal with the 2

  • I'm an Accor advantage plus member already have you had your card for ages? I'm nervous that they might catch on and cancel the card, if it works it's a great saving though

    • yes had mine for a few years. you just use a different email to join and don't brag to the australian rep when they call you to renew or join again that got a cheaper membership from asia Accor. if you tell them of course it will piss them off and revoke your membership to australian one 1card + 1 night. for $299. You live in australia but you could be working overseas etc

    Thanks

  • PM Sent. Thanks

  • I followed up on this a while ago but in the end was put off by the fact that it involved filling in and emailing a form with my credit card details and a signature to an email address.

All very unprofessional and set off my alarm bells.

Happy to hear from any success stories but if it goes wrong you'd have a hard time explaining to your credit card company.

Also wasn't this supposed to be a special offer to be completed by the end of May?

    • I'm keen but the process is tingling my spider senses as well. How do I verify that this is all legit? The email I was given is advantageplus.com.au but why are they using au if it originates from Asia?

      • Yep, I felt uneasy about it too. Enough to stop me going ahead.

Are they still offering the "special" pricing even now then?

        • I totally agree it looks dodgy, that is why even it is a great deal I never posted it as a deal on ozbargain. Only know about this and using it because I got it when I was in Hong Kong a few years back so I know it is legiit. Not sure why they are using the using the .com.au when they are asia division, it is weird. Anyway it is not such a good deal now the aussie dollar gone so much down. It is about $400 now instead of $350.

  • Ceceilia, does this allow us into their member's lounge or whatever they call it?

  • -not into their lounge because those you have to buy the special expensive rooms to have access

    • This card gives you silver status so unless you stay a lot you won't get free lounge access at hotels that offer it.

Most offer it, if they have a lounge, for free to higher status.

  • PM sent. Thanks

    Anyone joined using this?

  • PM sent too, thanks.

To clarify, it's ~AUD$350 for two Accor Club memberships? Does that mean each person gets one complimentary night each? If so then that's great - my partner will be most impressed!

    • Hi, actually not $350aud anymore as the Aussie dollar dropped to pretty low…… it's about $410aud now after conversion

  • PM Sent thanks. Hopefully this works as advertised!

  • (If you buy it here in Australia it cost $299 for one card only meaning only 1 complimentary night and only 2 people can dine to get 50% off.)

Was offered 2 AccorPlus cards for that price ($299) in May 2015. Staff were very unprofessional on the phone and rude, it seemed rather dodgy so we decided against purchasing.

  • Was offered 2 AccorPlus cards for that price ($299) in May 2015.

7Alice7 how did you get offered this deal? Did you ring them up, was it a promotion etc?

    • It was a telemarketing call. After reading this thread I looked into it further and found that it was only one membership with 2 cards (1 complimentary night and only 2 people can dine to get 50% off). I either misunderstood or was mislead.

      • Thanks!

Hi, just an update as I get people asking about this membership. Firstly, it is legit, but I am not a rep or get any referral bonuses if you join …… so I always say join if it saves you money. The membership now is $2688HKD …… so converting to AUD is now aprox $466. If you definitely are needing to book at hotels like Sofitel and use your 'two' free nights at Sofitel then you would definitely save money as one night is usually $300+ and you get the added 50% off bonus of the dinning privileges for the whole year.
I don't know why the asia division of advantage plus have their email using '.com.au' and they charge you in HKD but the credit card transaction is actually from NSW.
Like most redemption things do it well in advance especially for peak periods as they only have certain allocated rooms for this.
    Hope this info helps.

    • I have been renewing my accor plus at an asian country accor team for last three years (all you need is an overseas address, for them to send the card but I have never collected or used the physical card and just show the resturant on the phone Accor App) and one year membership comes with TWO free nights. Now my renewal only costs around AUD $200, which I get two free nights.

Regarding big hotels like Pullman and Sofitel not all accepts free nights and some may accept but you need to pay top up extra like $60 to $200 depending on your room choice and day.

In Aus, I have successfully redeemed free nights at Sofitel Mel FREE of charge with no top up but in Hong Kong even the pullman asking for top up.

This is where you can find, which country accor gives you two nights and the cost associated.
