Emergency Emergency Passport?

Okay.

So me and a friend have booked to go to Singapore for the long weekend. Just now, he has noticed his passport expires in 3 months and it is not valid. (minimum of 6 months to enter singapore)

So the flight leaves tomorrow night. Fudge.
He went into get an express passport today and they said it takes two working days.
He plead his case to them and they gave him a form, asked him to fill it out, submit a birth certificate and get me (the other traveller) to sign the document. (Who on earth knows why) Then they said bring it back tomorrow and theres a chance he could get a "walk-in" passport.

Has anyone ever heard of this or think this is even possible?

same day is possible, 2 days is guaranteed. after that they will refund your express fee. believe me, they won't want to refund your express fee. it'll get done.

    • Lets hope its same day because monday is a public holiday and he wouldn't get it until tuesday.

We are arriving back in Perth on monday hahaha
