eBay Negative Feedback

Hey, I'm an eBay seller and recently sold an item which I (thankfully) posted the same day with tracking.

I have just noticed that the buyer has left me negative feedback yesterday which says "I still have not received the dress".

On looking up tracking info it was delivered today. The buyer paid on the 21st May and I posted it the same day. I am staggered that the buyer could be so bloody nasty! I can't help how long Australia Post takes to deliver it!!

Anyone had similar and been successful getting it removed by eBay? I can find loads of pages on reporting feedback but not actually a REPORT button. Am on hold now but been told 25 mins wait… :-\

  • Could you add details of how long it took to actually be delivered?

    What I would do is send a message when you've got it posted as well as click the 'shipped' button.

    Remind him/her of the tracking link and ask them to PM you if there's any issues.

    It can be a pain, but just use a copy and paste template with the various tracking link.

    In this case, you're going to have to continue communicating with eBay.

    I used click and send so the tracking was there automatically and she was getting email updates. I got through to ebay and they have removed the feedback, thanks for your help!

  • I think you can contact Ebay and ask to have the feedback reviewed. The online chat is always good for advice too, so try that.
