So I'm changing job, and needing a decent laptop (as I'll be telecommuting from either home, or the 2 offices (1h and 3h away from home)… I love my iMac and igadgets, so decided to get an MBP Retina 15" and trying to figure out the best way to purchase.
Planning on waiting for a JB Hifi 10% off Apple (got my 27" imac like that a few months ago; maybe they can do some magic) + stocking up $3k on Wishcards @ 5% off (entertainment book), to go and buy JB Hifi vouchers from Big W (I haven't got my redundancy payout, so couldn't buy last weekend).
Paying by giftcards shouldn't affect my ability to salary sacrifice, as its essentially a cash equivalent… there's no GST on giftcards
Any other way to get an MBP cheaper that you guys can think of?
credit card points as well? CBA has awards you can use at myer… get myer to do a good price/pricematch… use full/part payment with credit card. Sometimes you can buy gift cards. i.e. 10% etc and use that in combo as well.
