i dont have many knowledge with transporter companys
though i have had a look for a quote on http://www.cevacarcarrying.com.au/
and the quote came to about $750 are there any cheaper alternatives?

Might not be relevant now, as you may have moved. But try www.movingcars.com.au. They can help as they do offer cheaper services as I have used them previously and found them to be ok.
I have gone with Ceva for all my vehicle transports (twice so far, one being a sports coupé). They are a fairly big company and took care of the transport, which was my main concern. Also I thought being a big company, they would care about customer complaints better than the single guy driving his own truck.
