Besides gumtree, does anyone know where I'd be able to get some cheap (or free) split firewood in Perth? We've recently rediscovered the joys of wood fires in winter but buying wood from the servo is much too expensive. Thanks!

Cheap or free split firewood…..not much chance of that. Best options are collecting it yourself, letting it season, then split and burn. Otherwise there are plenty of firewood supply mobs. Buy it by the cubic metre.
Also try any local sawmills. A few around my area (northern nsw) will let you take a full 6 x 4 trailer of offcuts for $10.

your local paper will have firewood sellers who deliver.
Cheaper in Bunnings and Masters that the servos. But yeah you should be able to find places giving it away for free uncut, I've seen places in my travels but don't remember where sorry.
