Only started buying avocados as of ~3-5 years ago! I think prior to this, when I first started buying them, they were going for about $2 each…

I store my avocados in the freezer by mashing them with some sea salt and lemon juice. Makes an awesome spread on bread for those non-seasonal months!
scoop out insides, put in container, freeze. Lasts 6mths.

Went to my local woolies to get some but didn't see any 3 packs. $1.78 each and were pretty big.
These were garbage a couple of weeks ago when I got the last lot - two of mine still aren't ripe having been kept in paper in the pantry since…

I'll try that this time - I used a tomato last time. For that low cost it's worth another try as I love avocado.
