I bought a civic 07 at a bargain last year, with a small rear bump, thinking I will get it fixed myself as I am getting the bargain.
As I moved to Melbourne recently, I did not knew about the main requirement of checking Hail Damage here.
One of my mate recently pointed it out when he noticed minor hail damage on my car :-(
Anyways long story short, I had the comprehensive insurance, but I cancelled it knowing that I can not claim anything legally in any incident.
Now I am looking to get my the bump and hail damage fixed. Would need expert advise on the good panel beaters in south east Melbourne.
~1 year ago I used Jeff Hind panel beaters in Bentleigh East. I got them to fit bumper I bought myself and spray it. They told me to come at 8.30am one morning and told me to go home because they'd stuffed up their times but apologised etc. In terms of the job done, I was very happy - bumper fitted and sprayed perfectly. I did ask them to clean up done other minor scrapes too but they didn't do that (I didn't expressly pay for it though). Cash only, good price. I would use them again.
