  From what I read a long time ago, the censor is applied based on the region the game is played in. If you buy this and play it in Australia, it'll still be censored.

  EDIT: After doing a bit of searching just now I think this isn't the case anymore (and may have never been the case). I was probably thinking of a different game. Apparently the AU version isn't compatible with other versions when trying to play coop so keep that in mind if you're planning to play with someone with the AU version.

    I think it still is, but its known that amazon NA retail key definitely bypasses the censor, so I think its better to be safe than sorry, its cheaper anyway

      Yeah i can vouch for the Amazon version, got it back when it first came out for $40.

      Finished the game ages ago and even did the mission that got it banned in the first place… don't see the big deal about it >_>
