  • Good buy - I need these for my slr camera. At 10 MegaPixel, I can store around 250 snaps - good for a athletic event day. Thanks.

  • Only available for pickup at Osborne Park Business Centre (WA) ?
    2 Units left

    • I ordered 5 at Hawthorn - no probs

      • Ordered and picked up?

        • Not picking up at 10pm - got a order confirmation and will need to collect it when it is ready for collection.

    8gb cards are like $30-$40?
8 x 1gb of these cards works out to be $31.92. Not much cheaper or convenient

    • 8g card is $22 at msy - much better than this.
16gb is only $41 now too so thats actually the cheapest per gb

this deal only good if no sdhc support or 1gb is all you need.

      • The $22 is not the Ultra II. Different brand, different speed, different quality.

        • my bad - its $26 - still less than 32 though

          • @voter1: where did you find it? the cheapest on staticice seems to be much higher than that, inclusive of shipping of anyway. i need a couple for my camera :/

@voter1: I cannot see Ultra II on the MSY price list - not sure what you are comparing here. The ultra II is capable of writing at faster speed than your standard ones and required by some camera to provide continious photo shoot or video recording.

I agree with these but I'll give it a positive because it's a good bargain relative to the price of other 1GB SD Cards.

Special uses for small SD cards:
      - disk for passing small files, that is inexpensive, so you aren't so worried if your friend loses it :)
      - great for recording time lapses without clogging your bigger cards :) (eg I go on holiday, can leave a camera to time lapse the sunrise or sunset, then charge it up again over brekky, load in a larger SD card for out and about, till I have a chance to review the recording and decide to keep or trash it :) )

Though it is a good price … a little cheaper would be nicer, agreed, given that larger cards can get a much better economy of scale …

  • i personally think this is a great deal, although it's a shame it's 1gb.

  • mmm.. not sure if anyone is getting it - my order got cancelled and the message they had was pathetic explaining the whole process without telling me that I am not getting my order.

That was my second attempt to buy at HT - I won't try again

  • can't see it on the site anywhere.
