Is it just me or are the tax time sales this year not so crash hot? I have picked up some really good bargains as recently as last year but this year I'm finding the specials aren't all that special. At least there is nothing to get me even slightly excited. For me it's just as well since this year I have a few out of the ordinary expenses hitting the bank account. But I hope it's not a trend and I enjoy seeing others grab bargains.

I thought the Ebay 15/20% deals were pretty good..
The macbook air deal was good. And there have been some good apparel deals lately, though they are more related to weird weather than EOFY. The BigW clearance deals a month or so ago were pretty good, and I think they were kind of end of year, and the recent Dick Smith deals have been OK.
Overall, 49.5% mark for this EOFY, a conceded pass.
