OzGameShop Issue

I purchased a ps3 game for $15.99 from ozgameshop. My order arrived in about 10 days time in damaged condition and I then emailed the pictures showing the damage to them. I have been asked to post the item back to UK at my own cost for claiming a refund.
Not a good outcome I guess. I am happy to post it back at their expense as the packaging was very poor with no bubble wrapping inside the envelope. It will cost be more than the item itself to return ship it to UK.

Be careful guys, better to pay more and buy from local shops here. I once ordered few games from GAME online store in UK and they packaged the games very nicely with proper cushioning and expected a similar standard of packaging from ozgameshop.

  • Might want to contact them again on their facebook page mate. If a company refuses to be fair to me I usually do that for a little more exposure to how I'm being treated. It helps, a lot.

    • member of customer services team replied to contact claims department and I don't have their contact! Issue still not resolved. Stuck in loop with this mob.

      • I have not received any response back from ozgameshop. Very poor form, stay clear from them.

        I had to close my PayPal claim as I was asked by PayPal to pay the return shipping to UK in order to claim the refund for $15.99 item.

  • I ordered Hitman Absoluton last year. The case was all cracked when it was delivered. So i posted on their facebook page and they agreed to send me a new box in the post. Perhaps get them to do that instead of refunding.

    • I asked them in the first place to give me options and they never gave me this option. Maybe last year they were owned by different management. Current owners are not good IMHO.

        yeah i think it is different management now. They have gone downhill in the last year.

      • I bought Bioshock Infinite Premium Edition from them and it was squeezed like shit. They didn't bother to use bubble wrap or protection even though it has fragile and bigger packaging. I managed to get compensation but I still annoyed because it's not in mint condition anymore. Don't buy special or collector's edition from them anymore.
