So my girlfriend is looking for a pair of trendy steel cap boots and have asked me to help her find a pair of Dunlop Xenu Ladies Steel Caps online since her the store that sells them doesn't stock her size (I think it is 9 or something). I did some trawling through the net and I found this website called Zop Shoes and that stocks alot of the shoes we are looking for and at a very good price with free shipping

Now, my gut feeling is saying this is all to good to be true. As I went through the process of purchasing to suss it out, when I get to the Paypal payment I thought it should be legit and safe enough but the site just informed me that they has sent an email and there is a Pay Now link there I would need to go through to finish the precess. When I clinked the link it seems to take me to the proper paypal website but the description given was just "Service", no dricribtion of the shoes and no reference to the company I'm buying goods from.. just an email [email protected] where the company should be..
Anyways, at this point I thought I better bail since my gut says something is wrong but I would like to know, Is this a scam site? how can you tell? and by sending the Paypal link through email some new way of scamming?

There are loads of ways to check the website's owner, registered address etc. I normally have a check of the 'contact us' or 'about us' section. When I see a webform with no additional information like registered business address, telephone numbers, company registered email address (e.g. not gmail or yahoo) then I get very suspicious. These guys just have a webform that no doubt came with the website template they have used and gives no guarantee I would be able to get hold of these guys if/when something goes wrong with my shoes!
