  • I ordered air purifier last year. it came fast and quick.

never had to ring anyone. Did online research and bought Ionmax with good price.

I will order humidifier again today, fast delivery.

    my 2 cents, from perth.

    • Thank you Hongas! Good to know your order was all okay :)

  • Rep, is there a solution you guys sell which can remove/drastically reduce smoke in a room?

    • Hey BigBuddha,

What type of smoke are you trying to remove or reduce from the room, and how much smoke is there?

My room is on fire at the moment and I can't breath. Halp!

WHERE ARE YOU PMUPSINEP WE'LL COME AND SAVE YOU!!!

      • It's moxa (moxibustion) smoke. Smells like weed when you burn it. Smoke thickness is similar to a cigar i suppose.

  • What's a good air purifier for sucking up dust in my bedroom. I'm too lazy to dust all the time. I'm looking for something quiet and has filters that can be cleaned or cheaply replaced every 1-2 years.

    • Hi davicta,

For something that fits all your requirements I'd recommend the Ion390 (http://www.purifier.com.au/air-cleaners/ionmax-ion390-uv-hep…) but unfortunately it is out of stock with the supplier at the moment! It's due to come back in stock in a few months :( This one would be the best, it has filters to capture the dust and other particles in the air, and the main filter that needs to be replaced is only $27, replaced probably every 2 years (and vacuum it regularly). It uses a fan to run, but on Low mode it's pretty quiet.

Otherwise, the next best model we have is the Coway AP1008CH (http://www.purifier.com.au/air-cleaners/coway-air-purifier-a…). It's a bit more expensive but it's made in Korea so it's very very good. Filters can be cleaned by vacuuming, and then replaced every 30 months. The replacement filters cost a bit more, at $16 for the pre-filter, $46 for HEPA filter, $25 for the carbon filter.

If your room is quite small, the Ion310 (http://www.purifier.com.au/air-cleaners/ionmax-ion310-mini-u…) and Ion330 (http://www.purifier.com.au/air-cleaners/ionmax-ion330-mini-h…) will help a bit, but there won't be a lot of airflow. The bigger units like the Ion390 and the Coway 1008CH will provide much better airflow and filter out the dust in a room much more efficiently.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions at all!

  • I'm after a dehumidifier recommendation for my bathroom. I'm in a two bedroom unit which, due to lack of sunlight and a crappy extractor fan in the bathroom, builds up a lot of moisture which leads to mould outbreaks on the walls, furniture and inside the wardrobes. Thanks in advance.

    • Hi happykamper

I'd highly recommend the Ion612 - http://www.purifier.com.au/dehumidifiers/ionmax-ion612-desic… but it's out of stock until the end of July. If you want something asap you can opt for the Ion632 (http://www.purifier.com.au/dehumidifiers/ionmax-ion632-desic…) - it's the bigger sister of the Ion612 and has a bigger capacity.

A dehumidifier will reduce your indoor home relative humidity level to below 60% which will stop the mould outbreak, but before using it you must physically remove the mould from your home first, and then use the dehumidifier to control the indoor humidity levels. Just letting you know as some customers don't realise this! Hope this helps, let me know if you're after more info on any of these units. Both the Ionmax 612 and 632 have very good reviews online.
