For Gold Coast Ozbargainers wanting reasonably priced plumbing products (esp 250 litre electric HWS) :
Slow leaking HWS led to me researching best replacement for my purposes. Decided on Aquamax 250 litre electric (to replace 23! year old Rheem), mainly for extra insulation, for tank sited outside.
Masters had numerous “10% off all Aquamax” TV ads, although could not find any mention in latest (12 June – 2 July) “Big Box SALE” catalogue.
Spurred on by TV ads, and online info that price reduced to $747 (+ collect), I checked Masters' Gold Coast stores for stock; all 'Sold Out'; likewise Brisbane area stores! Dead end.
Except for remembering a brochure from BBK Plumbing, discarded because its end date was 30 May – but I remembered they had Aquamax HWS at similar price.
Traced them via Google; sent an email; in stock; did not need to visit (Burleigh) store; could pay by cc or bank transfer. Paid. Delivered for free.
BEST service and BEST price.
Cannot recommend BBK Plumbing Plus, local family business, enough.
