Tried to buy MacBook Air 13 inch with today's 20% eBay deal at dick smith store. Entered code and it said couldn't verify code. Rang the number supplied and waited 65 minutes to get through ( I was reading a novel). Operator said code not working because item was $1067 and the discount would have been greater than $200 ($213). T&C 's said max discount $200. I said I'm happy with $200 off but she said didn't work like that. Anyone get around that?
PS. After waiting over an hour , finally talking to a human , phone cut off with low battery. Lucky another handset worked. Not my day.
Just bought a laptop off of Dell (Inspiron 15 7000 series) for $1319 after the $200 discount, it worked perfectly. I'm personally boycotting Dick Smith after they (profanity) me around on the phone and via email after already taking my money and then stating that they had no stock of an item, only to see it return to stock straight after the deal ended. Sick of their shit deals that they aren't even willing to honour.
