Anyone know where I can get Xenoblade Chronicles or The Last Story?

Really want to play these games as I've just got a Wii U. I've never owned a Wii and I heard these games were top notch but I've looked on eBay and they are ridiculously priced. Any reasonable prices on these games?(dont care if it's second hand)

I am in EXACTLY the same boat as you; have been looking for Xenoblade for so long. Cheapest I can find it is like $35 with $50 shipping on Ebay, which is absolutely ridiculous.

EB will almost never have these (I found a 'The Last Story' though recently! But I'm not too good at JRPG's (I have only finished like…. 3, out of 35-50 I've played) so I didn't get it), and even if they do, they will be $40-$50 preowned. Check, and ask, at your local EB store to make sure though, but if they're like the guy who works at my local EB, they'll laugh in your face.

However! My brother was actually able to find a limited edition PS2 original copy of Shadow Of The Colossus, which is equally as rare. So keep checking! (and also, remember to check your weekly paper for garage sales that specify 'games', as these ones can have some real gems (but it's usually Dora The Explorer The Game because parents hate their children and don't want them to play real games))

  • I'd try used game stores, however, it appears unlikely you are going to find either for much less than 80-100.

Metroid prime trilogy is about the same.

  • Try dungeoncrawl.com.au . When they had their physical store, they used to stock rare, cult games like those from consoles going all the way back to SNES. I reckon they still do, or will look into it if you ask them. Their prices are quite decent, if not the very best.

  • What state do you live?

    • NSW

      • There's a place called shintokyo in Adelaide that I know sells that game. I'm pretty sure it's cheap. Ill give them a call tomorrow and ask for the price and ill get back to you.

I can then buy it if the price is right for you then you can pay via PayPal then I can send it off.

Or you can call them now. I can't call because I'm at work right now

  • This doesn't help for purchasing but if you're really keen. You could 'rent' these games from GetGaming.com.au.

Their payment subscription is pretty reasonable ($11.95 for 2 weeks/one game or 22.95 for unlimited games/1 disc at a time). The Last Story is about 20 hours in length, so 2 weeks should more than suffice. Which is why I don't think its worth the current eBay price if you ask me.

Alternatively, you can try contacting them and see if they have any of those games for sale. I bought Xenoblade Chronicles (Special Edition) from them for $25. They had the Last Story for $48 at the time too.
