Got one, I think if you go the manual checkout way and choose PayPal at the end fixes the whole "want it now" shipping issue.

Why $36 for postage? I was about to pay with PayPal but the total went up to almost $170 :-(
Don't directly click on PayPal from the first page. First add it to cart and then proceed to checkout. Enter the details and select the payment option PayPal later in the steps. I just ordered that way and standard shipping is free.
