HPM Twin Pack 4 Outlet Powerboards only $1.98 at Dick Smith (Melbourne only?)

990

This is a twin pack for $1.98, i.e. only 99c each! This is a great buy. Also this brand has the flat plug on the end (which I personally like). You can never have too many of these in the house.

wow, just wow. Is this available in all DSE stores?

  • Edit - Maybe a special at Midtown Plaza Melbourne only?
The web site has this as being $8.98.
I couldn't see it in the current flyer either.

yeh so cheap i bought 10 packs, yes i know i'm crazy….don't know if i ever need them all…lol

  • Thanks for the find. As said you can never have too many of these things in the house. That and extension leads!

  • WOOOOOOOO

  • Anyone found this in Sydney for this price?

  • This was selling also for $2 on Sydney CBD George ST DSE. I think it has gone back to original price now.

I'll check Gosford NSW branch tomorrow and report back. It's a quiet store so if it has the deal I'd say most do. Assuming the special is still running.

  • Anyone know if there are any of these in Melbourne?

  • I saw this offer at leat 1m ago. but still a bargain.

  • Saw this advertised in yesterday's MX as a special to celebrate the recent renovations at the Midtown Plaza DSE store in Melb CBD (same as where the OP purchased from).

Didn read the ad that closely, so not sure if it's available at that location only, or at other Melb surburban stores as well.

    • From MX Yesterday, it states it is only in Bourke street Store. So not sure how this is available in the other stores.

Damn, I paid nearly $9 for this a few days ago!

$9 ouch! Find your receipt and return it :)
You should go to Bunnings or Big-W. They aren't as cheap as $1.98 but you can always get double or triple powerboard packs at either shop for half what you paid! I think Sams Warehouse sells some cheap ones too.

    • Go and buy more and return the newly purchased items with the old receipt… The will take it back.

  • Haha, it's too late to return it. :) Was kind of a much needed buy as I was rotating between the TV, Cpu, DVD player and heater. Good deal for those that can get it!

  • Just bought 5 at Bourke St store; right at the front once you walk in. Looks like some special since they just renovated the place.

Store on Elizabeth didnt seem to have any specials (or maybe i just missed them)

  • DSE at the strand in Melb had them. Good bargain.

  • just went to Bourke St. Store.

They have like over 200 there when I went 2 hours ago.

  • Not all stores have them at the moment for the price - though some stores I've noticed have them in the past. DSE scores a ton of them dirt cheap and they have plenty at the warehouse. My local store had them until last week as an opening special for $1.98, now they are back to original price.

Bit dissapointed by the plagarism @ Buckscoop.

    http://www.buckscoop.com.au/forums/deals-bargains-coupons-vo…

Seems that they have taken the image, edited it to remove the receipt and then giving no credit to OzBargain nor the original poster. I always thought they were a fairly reputable bunch. Guess not..

    • I noticed that myself y'day,, and the useless Go To Deal link that simply brings up the DSE home page.
A very poor effort by blondieo.
      \_/7

    • ohhhh. shame on Blondie.

  • the title would be better changed to Mel only!

  • DSE in Warrawong NSW didn't have them at that price, checked yesterday and the price was still $8.98.

  • $8.98 at Warringah MAll

  • anyone know if this is still available today at Bourke Street?

  • 8.98 in parramatta and none in stock (i went earlier in the week)

  • I have seen this at the opening of another store in Melb in the past year. I think it is a product they often use as a limited special (ie, to attract customers to a new store or a renovated one).

It is the regular price in the DSE Galleria (Elizabeth St) store in Melbourne.

  • $8.98 at Gosford NSW :(

  • The new Hallett Cove store in SA (which was the Morphett Vale store) had a big bin full of them in their entrance … $8.98 marked down to $4.98 … dodgy bastards :(

Great deal for those who can get these at the cheap price!

  • I bought a few in Bourke Street! Great deal - thanks for post!!!

  • $8.98 at Macquarie Centre, North Ryde NSW…

I bought a few yesterday and noticed they had 10% off Apple MacBooks as well. I might go back in on the weekend as the sale finnishes on Sunday

  • I bought a couple for $2 each at their Chatswood (NSW) Westfield store a few weeks ago, I don't know if they still have that deal. I just joined this forum, so I didn't see this item until today.

  • dse prahran also has it for $1.98

  • I checked Sydney George St store on Friday and they said it was sold out and won't be getting anymore.

  • their price has gone up to 5.98 (checked in chatswood dse)
